My first full day of New York City & Amy M had to go to work. :( Thankfully, Amy S was available all day! We met up for lunch in Bryant Park & enjoyed very bready sandwiches with turkey & avocado (& Diet Cokes). The sun finally got a little toasty so we wandered around all afternoon. We ended up over at the 9/11 Memorial, but didn’t have time to go inside the actual memorial. We were a little short on time so we jumped on the subway & headed to the Met (pictures from that experience coming later!)

Amy M & I checked out Grand Central from the floor. On Saturday, we wore ourselves out by walking pretty much the entire city. By the time we got here, we were both exhausted & a little cranky. Thus, we slumped onto the floor for about thirty minutes while I gave her a quick This-is-How-You-Shoot-In-Manual lesson. Hooray for fast learners!!
